28A- Your Exit Strategy
1.
At the moment I am not quite sure which exit
strategy I would choose. I believe this is mostly because I am currently
focused on completing my bachelor’s degree and a business is not my priority.
If I had to choose one though, I would probably choose to continue my business
until retirement.
2.
I have selected this strategy because I feel it
could be a a good side job to have. It will bring in extra money and provide me
cushion for when I am older. Also, I am not sure how much this business can
grow and am not sure if it will be worth enough to sell off to someone else.
3.
I think my exit strategy has influenced the way
I went about my business throughout the class in that I was not completely dedicated
to it. Like I mentioned above I am a college student and I am balancing my workload,
with a job, and extracurriculars. Knowing that I was only going to use this extra
money influenced the actions I made for my business idea.
Hi Brianna,
ReplyDeleteWell done with your blog post! I found it interesting how you excluded your business completely from your priorities due to how busy your life is. While I can completely understand this (especially during the crazy times right now!), don't forget that once things get back to normal, working on your business might be a nice supplement to your degree. From my perspective, I would much rather hire someone with an entrepreneurial background than one without. After all, experience talks! Keep up the great work!
Hey Brianna, I agree with you that my business is not my priority right now. Especially with all of this coronavirus stuff going on. I appreciate your dedication however, to keeping the business until you retire. I said I would probably sell my idea. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Brianna!
ReplyDeleteInteresting exit strategy and rationale for it, I think we are very similar in that I am quite focused right now on completing my schooling before I dive headfirst into a business, so anything I start right now would have to be something that is only a secondary focus of mine. Although I believe I would sell if the business ever became valuable, since I could use that money for new ventures.
